Known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”, the state of Minnesota holds three great rivers – the Mississippi River, the Red River and the St. Lawrence. These lakes quickly transformed the area into popular summer resorts that attract a multitude of visitors each year.

Minnesota’s location allows it to experience some of the drastic varieties of weather. The moderate effect of the Lake Superior keeps the area relatively cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It is known for its cold winters, but with 53 – 70 annual inches of snow per year, you can just bundle up and go outside to play.
